services focus on simplifying the traditional business IT
environment. We believe that most small business owners want and
need IT, but they don’t have the time, experience, or patience to deal
with the ownership that comes with IT.
Our consulting services provide an outsourced
‘virtual it department’ for your company. Better than having a
single consultant or internal IT guy, your ‘Virtual IT Department’
consists of a primary consultant and a team of engineers with over 20
years of experience and depth behind them. Unlike other
organizations, we won’t force you to talk to the help desk or a call
center to get in touch with your ‘virtual it department’. When you
have an issue, you call your primary consultant – directly.

Remote Support
Traditionally
IT support calls involved a site visit, travel charges, and maybe even
toll or parking reimbursement. Now with broadband everywhere, we
can provide virtual support. With virtual support, we can remotely
access, manage, and troubleshoot your IT-systems. This includes both
servers AND workstations. Virtual support does have it’s
limitations and isn’t always the right solution. For those times,
we do provide on-site consulting. Just don’t expect to see any
charges for tolls, travel charges, or parking reimbursements when site
visits are necessary.
Quarterly
Maintenance
Besides
as-needed consulting and virtual it services, we also recommend quarterly
maintenance visits to ensure your IT-systems are healthy. These
maintenance plans are not required but are highly recommended. Our
maintenance plans are scheduled check-ups in which we will perform such
tasks as:
- Inspect server and network
hardware
- Review system logs on servers for
signs of problems
- Confirm that backups have been
working and test restoring of information from backup
- Update all of your systems with
critical security patches
- Review any immediate concerns with
you directly
